Paula was very helpful in the process of clarifying with Park Grove Sales office the changes we wanted to make and our build out. Actually Paula guided us through a difficult process. We made many changes. We needed permits. We needed an architect. We needed many sub-contractors. Paula knew them all. Her suggestion of an architect and decorators proved to be very worthwhile. “We have had the pleasure of working with QCM Builders for several projects over the last four years. QCM, under Paula Quigley's eye, completed a major year-long remodel of a house in South Miami for us, which they took all the way down to the studs. They have also done major projects in our condominium at the Gables Club Towers, including replacing all of the wall size sliding doors throughout the unit with Hurricane Glass. The thing that stands out the most with Paula and QCM is her relentless attention to detail. Managing subcontractors can be a lot of work, and Paula makes sure every small detail is done correctly. She also has great relationships with the best electricians, plumbers, and builders, and she somehow manages to get things through the byzantine building departments of the City and Dade County. Anyone who has tried to work with the various authorities in Miami Dade County know how mind bogglingly tedious and bureaucratic they can be. Somehow Paula and QCM navigate these systems very effectively.
We have also been very happy how Paula works to get the best deals for her clients. Her cost plus system is very transparent, and lets us make clear decisions about how we want to proceed. As an example she secured ten contracts in the Gables Club to replace windows, and passed along huge savings to all ten clients. If we had gone on our own to do the window replacements, it would have cost us twice as much, and then we would not have had the expert management of the project.
